Abstract
This research is intented to determine the sector included in the potential sector in Banyuwangi Regency, to know what commodities can be developed in Banyuwangi and to know the oilicies that support regional economic development efforts in Banyuwangi Regency. The method used in the research is Location Quotient (LQ), Dynamic Location Quotient (DLQ) and Shifshare Analysis. The revenue of the study based on the LQ analysis method are for fruit commodities included in the base sector dragon fruit, siamase orange, manga, papaya, rambutan, banana, while in vegetables kale, small chilies, mustard greens, eggplants, large chili. The DLQ analysis method shows that the commodity has potential develop dragon fruits, siamase orange, manga, papaya, banana, rambutan and watermelon. While in beans, long beans, large chili, small chilies. The result of shift share analysis show that horticultural communities still have specialities it can be seen that sector experiencing growth banana, rambutan, dragon fruits, bread fruit and pineapple while in the vegetable sector commodity there are spinach, kale, beans and cabbage. This shows that sectors analysed in LQ and DLQ provide economic growth by determining featured sector.
