Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of unemployment and education levels on GRDP in East Java Province. This research uses secondary data for 4 years from 2019 - 2022. The data analysis method used in this research is the panel data regression method with the Fixed Effect Model (FEM) approach. The dependent variable in this research is gross regional domestic product (GRDP), while the independent variables are unemployment and education levels. Based on the research results, it can be concluded that the unemployment rate has a negative and significant effect on GRDP in East Java Province, education has a positive and significant effect on GRDP in East Java Province.
