Abstract


Indonesia is a developing country with the number of workers in the 2022 reaching 144.01 people, which has increased from the previous year. In line with the increasing number of workers, there is a need for data related to the number of labor demands in Indonesia. This research aims to analyze the influence of Technology, Provincial Minimum Wages and Economic Growth on labor demand in the industrial sector on the island of Java for the period 2012-2022. The data used in this research uses secondary data. The method used in this research uses a panel data analysis method with the selected model, namely the Fixed Effect Model (FEM). The results of this research show that manufacturing machine technology has a positive and significant effect on labor demand, the provincial minimum wage has a positive and significant effect on labor demand, and economic growth has a positive and significant effect on labor demand Keywords
