Abstract
Economic growth is one of the familiar indicators used in determining the success of a development. Economic growth is used as a measure of the development or economic progress of a country or region because it is related to economic activity. Economic development cannot be measured only from increased economic growth but needs to be seen from social factors. This study aims to determine the effect of economic growth as an economic indicator of development. This research is a type of quantitative approach descriptive research. The data used is secondary data with panel data types using regression analysis. The results of this study show that the variable Number of Industries has a significant effect on Economic Growth in East Java Districts/cities. The Labor Force Participation Rate has a positive insignificant effect on Economic Growth in East Java Districts/cities. The Human Development Index has a significant positive effect on Economic Growth in East Java Districts/Cities.
