Abstract

In order to achieve social welfare, development requires increased economic growth and equal distribution of income. Rapid economic growth that is not balanced with equality will create inequality between regions. This research aims to analyze the influence of Economic Growth, Population, and Average Years of Schooling (RLS) on Income Inequality in Indonesia. The data used in this research is secondary data taken from several official publications. The data source was taken from the Central Statistics Agency, with a period of 2013 to 2022. The method used in this research is quantitative using panel data regression analysis. The best model chosen for data processing in this research is the Random Effect Model. The results of the research analysis show that economic growth and education have a negative and significant effect on income inequality in Indonesia, population has a positive and significant effect on income inequality in Indonesia.
