Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Human Development Index (IPM), Regency/City Minimum Wage (UMK), and Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) on Labor Absorption in the Regional Bakorwil V Jember Region 2010-2019. Labor absorption is an important issue in national and regional development. The workforce has a very important role and position as actors and development goals. Manpower can be used as a benchmark for the success of a region's development, with the intention that employment supports the success of national development as a whole. This study uses Panel Data, namely 7 Regencies/Cities in the Bakorwil V Jember Region 2010-2019. The results of the study show that the Human Development Index, Regency/City Minimum Wage, and GRDP simultaneously have a significant effect on labor absorption in the Bakorwil V Jember Region.
